The combination of active ingredients:
The main active ingredient used, bakuchiol, is extracted from the seeds of the babchi plant. In traditional Chinese medicine and Ayurveda, the plant has long been used as a remedy for numerous skin problems. Due to its antimicrobial effect, the active ingredient is used against skin blemishes, for example. Bakuchiol can also prevent and smooth wrinkles and stimulate collagen synthesis. The active ingredient is also active against radicals responsible for premature skin ageing. Bakuchiol is a plant-based alternative to retinol. The only difference is that the natural active ingredient does not irritate or dry out the skin. On the contrary: anti-ageing day and night creams enriched with bakuchiol can even effectively reduce the external signs of inflammation. The active ingredients contained in the anti-aging cream - liquorice root extract, macadamia oil, wheat germ oil, urea and sorbitol - nourish the skin and provide it with intensive moisture.
