Striking the Balance Between Environmental Protection and Safe Packaging

Finding the perfect balance between protecting the environment and ensuring safe packaging for our products wasn’t easy. It sparked a lot of discussions within our team. However, we all agreed on one thing: we wanted to package our goods in a way that conserves resources and contributes to protecting the environment.

How Did We Package Products in the Past?

In the past, we prioritized secure packaging due to numerous complaints. We used bubble wrap envelopes to ensure the safety of our products. Despite this, we couldn't shake the feeling that we wanted to do more for the environment. This led us to experiment with different packaging methods until we found the right fit.

How Are RAU Cosmetics Products Packaged Now?

We continue to ensure the safe delivery of our products. Now, we use an adequate amount of recycled packing paper to cushion our products, keeping them secure without them moving around in the box.

We’ve also received requests to print designs on our boxes. While we appreciate the aesthetic appeal, we’ve decided against it. Adding designs often involves environmentally harmful materials, and we prefer to keep our packaging simple. We believe our products speak for themselves. 😊

Additionally, we don’t use secondary packaging—those small, decorative boxes that some products come in. From the start, we chose to skip these to reduce waste and minimize our environmental impact.
